Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, 1970. Cal has come home from his college town to work as a detective, and in his first week children begin to disappear. A dark occult mystery begins to unravel as gruesome scenes are found in the area.
The town wants a killer and an obvious suspect is among them. The evidence keeps refusing to fit. Kids go missing, then turn up with alibis. One detail doesn’t belong to any person at all.
You investigate on foot through a small, dense town built in Unreal Engine 5: interviews, scenes, and paper records. What you believe matters as much as what you find.
The game tracks your Certainty, how sure Cal is about his theory. It opens doors and closes others, and it can be wrong.
"The town wants a killer. The truth is worse than anyone can imagine."
